  "description" : "Total marine mammal density was determined from U.S. Navy OPAREA Density Estimates (NODEs) data by compiling the seasonal desnity counts across 25 species in the western Atlantic into a total mammalian density value. \n\nA total field was added to the attribute table where counts across the four seasons were summed. This data was then converted into raster format using the total count as cell values.
