Service Description:

The total amount of tiles generated in this project was 19,684 tiles.

The zoom level range for which the tiles were generated was 1-17 (world- city block).

The amount of tiles generated specifically for the last level #17 (city block) was 14,595 tiles.

The purpose of this project was to display large images such as this one, as tiles.

This image was taken using satellite imagery the day after Hurricane Katrina's landfall in August of 2005. Significant flooding can be seen in this satellite imagery moving toward Lake Pontchartrain.
