Service Description:
This map shows a large image of New Orleans, Louisiana on August 30, 2005. This date was the day after Hurricane Katrina hit the renowned city. It specifically shows the flooding of the New Orleans Area. The lighter the area the more extensive the flooding is. The darker an area appears means there is less flooding in that location.

The gray and white OrbView satellite image of New Orleans was used to produce the tile layer. The tile layer sits on top of the background. The background is a topographic map of New Orleans, LA, along with the surrounding cities.

The tile layer generated 19,684 tiles that have a zoom level range of 0-17.
