Service Description: This layer shows users a satellite image of the effects of hurricane Katrina on New Orleans, Louisiana. The satellite image is transposed on top of the map of the city to better understand where the primary effects of the storm occurred. The image gives users a better idea of the damage that came from this storm. This was a very detrimental storm to the city that occurred on August 30, 2005 and resulted in flooding many parts of the city.
