Service Description: UAS Imagery (0.75 inch), Slinkard Creek below Little Hoover, 2017.08.29, Phantom 4 Pro. This is drone-collected imagery collected on August 28th and 29th at the Slinkard / Little Antelope Wildlife Area covering part of Slinkard Creek just below the Little Hoover dam. The vehicle used was a DJI Phantom 4 Pro (flown at 200 ft and 100 ft). Imagery was processed using Drone2Map. The Vegetation Classification and Mapping Program of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife initiated the collection of this imagery to test the use of drones for mapping vegetation in small areas and to test the use of high resolution imagery to help in calibrating signatures for photointerpretation with coarser imagery. The imagery will be used in vegetation mapping and stream assessment.
