Service Description: UAS Imagery (0.6 – 1.4 inches), Slinkard Creek, 2017.08.29, Phantom 4 Pro and Phantom 4. This is drone-collected imagery collected on August 28th and 29th at the Slinkard / Little Antelope Wildlife Area covering part of a meadow along Slinkard Creek.  The vehicles used were a DJI Phantom 4 (flown at 300 ft) and a DJI Phantom 4 Pro (flown at 200 ft).  Imagery was processed by acquisition area into 6 tiles using Drone2Map. These tiles were then combined in a Mosaic Dataset. The Vegetation Classification and Mapping Program of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife initiated the collection of this imagery to test the use of drones for mapping vegetation in small areas and to test the use of high resolution imagery to help in calibrating signatures for photointerpretation with coarser imagery. The imagery  will be used in vegetation mapping and stream assessment.
