Service Description: Imperiled species richness was assessed from publicly available range data (GAP, IUCN, and FWS ECOS) for species defined as ‘imperiled’ (1,923 species). These include species that are listed or under consideration for listing under the ESA, have a NatureServe G1-3 status and/or are in critically endangered, endangered or vulnerable IUCN categories. Values indicate the number of species ranges that overlapped each 1km2 location.
