Service Description: A Desirability Index has been created to identify the most opportune areas for marketing energy upgrade programs within Santa Clara County. This index is based upon an average of selected demographic attributes for all Census blockgroups within the County. The following attributes have been used based upon source data provided by ESRI and the U.S. Census American Community Survey; 1) ESRI Tapestry Lifestyle households from the following categories; Affluent Estates, Family Landscapes, GenXurban, Ethnic Enclaves, and Senior Styles; 2) Average Household Income; 3) Children Under 18 Present in Household; 4) Single Family (Attached or Detached) Housing and; 5) Pre-1975 Owner Housing.
