Service Description: This is a tiled map service of the Tax Rate Areas (“TRA”s) in Santa Clara County. It is derived from TRA detail maps obtained from the State Board of Equalization (SBE). It contains 1,808 separate polygons delineating 809 separate TRA numbers. Its purpose is to provide the components and/or corroboration for jurisdictional and school district boundaries. The TRA number is five digits in length, the first two digits being the city or jurisdiction and the last three digits being the unique taxing area within the city or jurisdiction. This tiled map service is visible at all scales up to 1:2,257. Zooming in to larger scales will cause the the service to not be visible.
