Service Description: Historical imagery of the Dangermond Preserve 1929.

This imagery mosaic was constructed from scanned photographs of aerial photography acquired on 05/02/1929 .  The scanned photography was georeferenced to the WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere coordinate system and mosaiced using ArcGIS Pro.

This imagery is georeferenced but not orthorectified.  So the spatial accuracy is limited.  However, great efforts were made to apply in some cases hundreds of tie points per image.  So in some cases, the spatial accuracy begins to approach the accuracy of orthorectification.  The appearance of the imagery is enhanced through the application of seamlines, color balancing, and stretches to in an effort to display them in their best light.
