Service Description: As of 04/17/13 2216h PST On April 17, 2013, at the West Fertilizer Company plant in West, Texas (a city in McLennan County near Waco, Texas), an explosion occurred at 7:50 p.m. CDT (00:50 UTC).[1] Early media reports indicate mass damage to buildings and heavy casualties. The cause of the blast is currently unknown. The EMS director for West, Dr. George Smith, has reportedly estimated that 70+ people have died, with hundreds more injured. However, the death toll is as yet unconfirmed.
