Service Description:
Coastal Relief Models (CRMs) provide seamless topographic and bathymetric bare-earth elevation profiles of coastal regions for U.S. states and territories. Extents span from beyond the upper extent of coastal food zones, out to the continental shelf. The vertical reference system is EGM2008 or Mean Sea Level (Hawaii and Puerto Rico). These new CRMs were generated at a spatial resolution of 1 arc-second by merging high-resolution DEMs, including NCEI’s suite of Continuously Updated DEMs (CUDEMs), as well as source data from other international, U.S. federal and state agencies (see User Guide for details).
This is a tiled layer providing a visualization of the 1 arc-second CRMs. Please also see the CRM Dynamic Image Service.
