Service Description: Mitch4sat.tif is a satellite image showing Hurricane Mitch on October 30, 1998 as it downgraded to a tropical storm, with winds from 39-73 miles per hour. The center of the hurricane is on shore, over Honduras, although the eye is not visible. This high-resolution photograph of Mitch from space was taken by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), in partnership with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), using special storm-tracking satellites.
