Service Description: Predicted frequency of sickle haemoglobin alleles, 2010

Description:

Estimates were based on data from community surveys which fed into a geostatistical model configured to generate gene frequency estimates. The model output a range of estimates (a posterior distribution) at each location (~5x5km) and the mean estimate for each location is shown on the above map.
