Service Description: This map shows where youth reside in the city, and emphasizes areas where youth are more than 33% of the total population. The map layers show a dot distribution to represent the population, where each dot represents a number of people in that area. The dot values are adjusted by scale to get the best representation of the distribution. The value of each dot is roughly halved with each increase in scale, from 100 persons per dot at city-wide scales, to 3 persons per dot at neighborhood scale. For areas which contain a high proportion of youth (more than 33%), added emphasis is given a transparent polygon underneath the dots. This map shows where seniors reside in the city, and emphasizes areas where seniors are more than 10% of the total.
